In short, the subjects didn’t demonstrate the classic brain-based signs of addiction. Instead, they loved their iPhones." Do I love my wife less, no; do I feel a love for my iPhone, perhaps. I definitely feel a loss if it is not nearby. Call it an addiction or loss, but I agree it evokes an emotion in me.
